WeatherizeDC, The DC Project’s flagship program, is a community-led effort to grow neighborhood interest in energy efficiency and create clean energy jobs for disadvantaged D.C. residents. By mobilizing community leaders to educate their networks about the benefits of home energy efficiency, the program builds consumer interest in weatherization. Then, the program links D.C. community members to local businesses to fill the jobs created through the new efficiency projects.
